Jesus comes with clouds descending;
See the Lamb for sinner slain!
Thousand, thousand saints attending
Join to sing the glad refrain:
Christ the Lord returns to reign!
Every eye shall then behold You
Robed in awesome majesty;
Those who jeered and mocked and sold You,
Pierced and nailed You to the tree,
Shamed and grieving, Shamed and grieving,
Shall their true Messiah see.
Yes, Amen! Let all adore You
High on your eternal throne;
Crowns and empires fall before You,
Claim the kingdom for Your own:
Come, Lord Jesus, Come, Lord Jesus
Everlasting Christ, come down!

These songs are powerful. They are relevant and beautiful as well. I am currently in a small group study of a book on racial reconciliation efforts. The book, Be the Bridge, contains not only prayers at the ends of the chapters, but 3 liturgies: one of Lamentation, one of Confession, and one of Restoration. When it is my turn to lead a liturgy, I want to play at least one of these songs. caledonia47
This is one of my favorite albums of all time and was a real lifeline for me last year as I went through a variety of struggles, some vocational. Thanks so much for creating and sharing this music! I can't wait for your next album! I share this with everyone I can. sunnysmilesforyou
I am liking what I have heard! We are looking for solid gospel songs for our church in Phoenix,AZ. I sing part time with the worship team. Our pastor and friend has asked me to find more anointed songs than what we have been singing. Thank you for your album! God bless you! Leah Wood Leah Wood
